Full length Silver Needle White Tea leaves, jasmine, and amaranth flowers come together to create the Butterfly Teaposy. When placed in boiling water, the Butterfly Teaposy will slowly open to reveal the purple amaranth and white jasmine flowers sewn in the center of the leaves, all while brewing the finest quality single origin tea. The clean, fresh taste of the Silver Needle White Tea is complimented by the subtle floral accents of the amaranth and jasmine. Perfect for sharing with friends or enjoying on a relaxing Sunday afternoon, Teaposy blossoms can be brewed up to 5 times and can even be displayed as an attractive centerpiece in cold water for a week or more. The Butterfly Teaposy blossom is made exclusively from full length leaves of single-origin Silver Needle White Tea, grown, harvested, and packaged in the Fujian Province of China. 80% of the tea is harvested during the spring and 20% during the autumn, the ideal times because of the nutrition accumulated in the leaves during the winter and summer months. This creates the tea’s clean, high quality taste that can’t be found anywhere else on the market today. The Butterfly blossom not only has a jasmine flower hand-sewn into it, it is infused with the scent of jasmine as well. However, no artificial flavorings or perfumes are used to create this soothing aroma. Jasmine flowers are handpicked at their peak blooming time of 1 pm and placed with the Teaposy buds for hours so they can naturally absorb the floral scent. When placed in hot water to brew, the Teaposy will fill the air with jasmine as it slowly opens.
